Environmental Safty Policy<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Principles<\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

In alignment with our philosophy, KIT actively promotes environmental safety education and research. We develop human resources capable of identifying, addressing and resolving the environmental issues facing us today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through scientific and technological innovation, we contribute to the achievement of the SDG\u2019s (Sustainable Development Goals) and a more sustainable world. Additionally, we are committed to reducing our environmental impact, conserving the environment, and ensuring harmony and coexistence with the environment in all university activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Policy<\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Fostering environmentally aware human resources<\/span>
1. We continuously promote environmental conservation initiatives as well as environmental and safety education and research. This commitment supports the development of human resources who proactively address challenges while maintaining a strong awareness of the environment, safety, and the SDGs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reducing environmental impacts<\/span>
2. We reduce the environmental impacts of university administration and educational research activities and strive to effectively conserve energy and resources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Complying with laws and regulations<\/span>
3. We comply with environmental protection and safety related laws and voluntary standards, employing education and research to prevent accidental environmental pollution and risks to health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Improving continually<\/span>
4. We set environmental protection and safety targets, actively promote environmental conservation and strive to reduce environmental risks. We continually improve on these efforts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Disseminating information<\/span>
5. We communicate our stance on the environment and its protection and safety while furthering university-community understanding through dialogue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
